No alcohol during lockdown can rehabilitate some of South African citizens.

South Africa is in lockdown and only a few people are allowed to work. This has not only have bad impact to the people, others are benefiting from it.

Many families are struggling to put food on the table, while they have that one person who works but spend all the money on alcohol. These kind of people can be really abusive when under the influence of alcohol.

The government has instructed against the selling of  a number of things during this twenty-one days lockdown  and alcohol is one of them. This means that more people can spend their money on important things and more people will not go to bed hungry. However, spending more time with family will open the eyes of the abusers and make them realize how much they are loved.

Let us hope this lockdown would reduce the consumption of alcohol in South African especially on the youth.

  4. Let us all hope only good will come out of this lock down. Even though most of people are still not happy or understanding the purpose of our president, on stopping the selling of alcohol. We hope as time goes by they will understand that it for our well being. When people are drinking they like to share and that when the virus spread quickly so as when the smoke and share a most increase chances of contacting to a virus. But more people now do understand this.

  7. Oh God I also hope this Lockdown will open the eyes of the abusers to see how wrong their action is. And am really hoping it won't be a good opportunity to other abusers to continue doing this since their victims will be stuck at home with them for such a long time😪truly speaking no one should be subjected to abuse
